Typically people begin resolutions at the beginning of the year but I only recently decided to do a massive overhaul. My aim is to begin a new degree, find a fulfilling full time job, move houses and learn to cook. Being one of the biggest procrastinators that there is, I've decided to start with the easiest one first. Today, my goal was to learn to cook. I've never really had much experience at the whole cooking experience and embarked on a mission to make brownies.
I started it the easiest way possible..
I used a packet mix.
I'd never even cracked an egg but thanks to the amazing instructions on the back of the box, I placed the brownies in the oven and hoped for the best.
I got the biggest surprise when I opened the oven and cut them up.. They actually looked half decent!
As for taste, they're not that amazing but through perseverence I am determined to master this hard task. Apparently not all women are made to be in the kitchen.

The Girl With The Red Ribbon
We all have that one thing about us that distinguishes ourselves from the crowd. Whether it be your haircut, your smile or your sense of fashion. We are all unique in our one way. The distinguishing feature of myself is my hair. Now, I don't have one of those funky hairstyles, nor is it particularly long but I can however be spotted in a crowd because of it. The reason why is because of my fondness of ribbons. I'll wear ribbons of any colour but my particular favourite is RED.
For those of you familiar with brands, you may be able to recognise one of my favourite ribbons with ease. I'll explain though for everybody else that this particular ribbon is off a Bailey's bottle. Now, I rarely drink and I've never had any Bailey's to be quite honest but a work mate of mine saw this particular ribbon on a bottle at work and gave it to me as a present. It now takes pride of place in my hair at work and I look forward to the day when some Bailey's drinking customer of mine comes up and recognises where this ribbon is from. Until then, it's just another plain, old, boring ribbon to everybody else but me.
